English to Turkish is a language pairing that we are often asked to translate here at Tomedes, such as the business plan that we were asked to translate into Turkish last week.
As leading economist Jim O’Neill has just included Turkey in his list of countries that are likely to be the most attractive in the world to investors over the next decade (along with Mexico, Indonesia and Nigeria), interest in doing business there is likely to pick up considerably. Tomedes is already seeing evidence of this, with several clients asking us to translate their business documents into Turkish.
The most recent translation we undertook was of a client’s business plan, to support his aim to set up a company in Turkey to take advantage of the country’s dynamic economy and unique position between the western and eastern worlds. It was a lengthy document and we passed it to our leading translator based in Istanbul, as the translation work fitted in well with his personal experience of the business world.
The business plan was swiftly translated, proofread and quality checked, after which we returned it to the client. He was thrilled with the fast turnaround time, which enabled him to have everything he needed for his planned trip to Turkey the following week. Tomedes looks forward to assisting him with further translation needs as the setting up of his new company progresses.
